Gunnison County Electric Association, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Chief Financial Officer. This is a high level, executive position and is responsible for the financial health of the association. Performing high level accounting and finance functions is required. This position also participates in the overall management and implementation of strategic goals for the association. This position supervises and oversees several departments. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Additional specialized accounting education and/or CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in related field with increasing responsibility over time period. Ten or more years of experience preferred.
• Experience in electric utility industry is preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Experience and/or education in interpersonal and communication skills desirable.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel required.
